THE CORN PALACE
MITCHELL, SOUTH DAKOTA
The Corn Palace is an amazing place. It was originally covered entirely
in corn, but after several pesky fires the good people of Mitchell decided
to confine the actual corn to several large murals. New murals are designed
and installed each year. Peteena especially likes the photographs of each
year's murals, which can be viewed inside the building.
